Hey Cowabunga fam,
Big news from the grading world — two of my creator-owned books have officially been added to the CGC Comic Registry as Competitive Sets! That’s right:
🟨 "Birthday Bash" (11 books) A coffee table book I released on my birthday 2023
🟦 "Before and After" (17 books) A visual journey showcasing my artwork before and after collaboration with a colorist.
These two books and all variations are now available for CGC collectors everywhere to showcase, rank, and compete with in the CGC community.
For those unfamiliar, the CGC Registry is an online platform where collectors from around the world display their graded comics, interact with fellow enthusiasts, and build their reputations as elite collectors. Competitive Sets allow users to collect specific books from a series and earn points based on scarcity, desirability, and grade. The higher your grade and the rarer the book — the more points you score.
I’m honored that these books are making their mark in the CGC ecosystem, and it’s surreal to see copies already entered, graded, and ranked. Huge thanks to the collectors who took the initiative to get these books slabbed and submitted as Competitive Sets.
